We are so excited for our annual Harvest for the Homeless fundraiser this Fall!

We are in gear for our beloved annual Harvest for the Homeless benefit to raise funds and awareness for our programs, and will pivot this year from an in-person event to a sponsorship drive and online auction. This was a carefully considered choice, one we feel most responsibly reflects our values as an organization and community stakeholder. Without event overhead, we can most effectively support our services in a year rife with challenges. Please mark your calendars for our online auction happening November 20th - December 1st!

We are so proud that our shelter and housing programs continued without pause throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
AAHS has worked hard to expand our capacity to meet the increased need generated by this crisis over the past years,
specifically for children and families. In 2022, AAHS sheltered and/or housed 169 children and 73 families, and as of
September 2023 we have sheltered and/or housed 128 children and 62 families, while providing crisis counseling,
diversion and/or referrals to over 1,000 people seeking assistance.

Support from our community makes this work possible, and our Harvest fundraiser represents a significant portion of our annual budget. Your contribution will truly have a constructive and lasting impact on our community, and we are grateful for any level of support.
