We are so excited to return to our in-person annual Harvest for the Homeless fundraiser this Fall!
Please mark your calendars for November 4, 2022, 7pm to 10pm at the wonderful Athens Cotton Press! To make this event even better, we're hosting an online auction leading up to our first in person event since 2019! The online auction opens on October 21st at 12pm and closes on November 4 at 9pm (the night of the event).
Throughout the past 2 years since we've had an in person event, AAHS has worked hard to not only remain safely open for those families in our care, but to also expand our capacity to meet the increased need from the pandemic. As of August 2022 we have sheltered and/or housed over 100 children and their families this year; since 2020 and the beginning of the pandemic we have sheltered and/or housed 427 children and their families (668 people), and provided crisis counseling and/or referrals to over 2500 people seeking assistance.
Support from our community makes this work possible, and our Harvest fundraiser represents a significant portion of our annual budget. Your contribution will truly have a constructive and lasting impact on our community, and we are grateful for any level of support.
